WithUsbreaking not onlythe box officebut audiences' collective minds,Jordan Peele’s name has never been buzzier in the horror community; phrases like “the next Hitchcock” are being bandied about, but really we’re just seeing the rise of an extremely original voice in the genre, one who can expertly provide both chills and thrills while still having something to say. So it goes without question that we’re unreasonably hyped for CBS All Access' revival ofThe Twilight Zone, which Peele is executive-producing through his Monkeypaw Productions alongsideMarco Ramirez(Daredevil) andSimon Kinberg(Dark Phoenix). CBS released two new trailers for the upcoming anthology, which tease a pair of terrors starringAdam ScottandKumail Nanjiani.
The first focuses on “Nightmare at 30,000 Feet” directed by Greg Yaitanes, who directed the stellarCastle Rockepisode “The Queen.” The title brings to mind the original series' “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet”, the iconic episode that sawWilliam Shatnerbeing terrified by a gremlin on the wing of his plane. But there’s no gremlin in sight here, just an increasingly sweaty Scott caught up in something terrifying on a flight besideChris Diamantopoulos. (And I apologize but I can’t stop thinking about theKey & Peele"Turbulence" sketch.)

The second trailer reveals “The Comedian”, starring Nanjiani as a struggling comedian who makes a deal for laughs withTracy Morgan, who may or may not be the devil. TheTwilight Zoneis no stranger to Faustian bargains; the 1959 episode “Escape Clause” saw a hypochondriac (David Wayne) sell his soul for immortality. It goes poorly.
The Twilight Zonewill also featureJohn Cho,Ike Barinholtz,Taissa Farmiga,Alison Tolman, andSteven Yeun. In addition to executive-producing, Peele is taking over hosting duties.

Check out the trailers below. The Twilight Zone premieres on CBS All Access on April 1.
