SUPERHERO ROUNDUP
Every week on TV Talk we’ll discuss the TV happenings in the superhero realm. That being said, we had a huge week with the release ofDaredevilseason 2 on Netflix.
This weekend at Silicon Valley Comic ConJeremy Rennerwas asked about possibly doing a Hawkeye TV seriesto which he responded very positively saying he thinks the Netflix model is a really great model, and if there’s ever a way to explore the character, maybe it’s in that world.
AMC screened the pilot episode ofPreacherat South by Southwestto rave reviews.Preachertells the story of Jesse Custer, a preacher accidentally possessed by the supernatural creature named Genesis, the product of the unauthorized, unnatural coupling of an angel and a demon, composed of both pure goodness and pure evil; which might have enough power to rival that of God Himself.
