I think we can all agreeThis is Spinal Tapis one of the best movies of the ‘80s and one of directorRob Reiner’sbest films. I’ve probably watched the film dozens of times and each time find something new to laugh about. If you’ve never seen it, the 1984 mockumentary follows the fictional British heavy metal band Spinal Tap on tour around the United States in 1982. Along the way it satirizes everything about heavy metal and the lifestyle of rock stars. Trust me, if you have never seenThis is Spinal Tap, watch it immediately. You’ll probably buy the soundtrack the second the film ends. The film starsRob Reiner,Christopher Guest,Michael McKeanandHarry Shearer.Paul Shaffer,Fred Willard,Fran Drescher,Bruno Kirby,Howard Hesseman,Ed Begley, Jr.,PatrickMacnee,Anjelica Huston,Vicki Blue,Dana Carvey,Billy Crystal,BrinkeStevens, andLinnea Quigleyall play supporting roles or make cameo appearances in the movie.
Anyway, the reason I got to talk aboutSpinal Tapthis morning isMatt Taylorand Vice-Press have partnered up to create a coolThis is Spinal Tapposter produced under license from Studiocanal. The limited screen print has two versions: the regular is an edition of 120 and the “None More Black” variant is an edition of 30. If you’ve seen the movie, the variant is a fun take on the “Smell the Glove” album cover. The variant will also come with a free mystery enamel pin designed byFlorey. Vice-Press says they be randomly inserting a very small number into orders of the regular edition.

Check out the posters below. They’re on sale now onVice-Press.com.
