Unfortunately, composerNikhil Koparkarrecently took to his personal X account to reveal thatthe song will not be appearing on the ballot due to “clerical issues.”It’s unclear at this time what the clerical error is that’s preventing the song from being recognized, but this is yet another thing thatThe Wheel of Timefans had to be excited aboutthat has beensnatched away.
It didn’t take fans long afterThe Wheel of Timehad been canceled toput together a petition to save the series, which has since picked up steam to thetune of over 100,000 signaturesand $15,000 raised. However, it was reported a few weeks ago thatAmazon has no plans to shop the seriesand give it a chance to be revived on other streaming services, despitefans calling for Prime Video to let someone else finish the story. Writer and showrunnerRafe Judkinshas expressed his sadnessover the show being canceled, citing thatfans deserve to see the story completed.The Wheel of TimeauthorBrandon Sanderson’s response to the cancellationtold a different story. While he admitted he feels for the fans, he says he“won’t miss being largely ignored.”
