Mamma wolf is forced to let Bagheera (Ben Kingsley) take her cub back to man’s world as it’s no longer safe for him in the jungle. Accompanied by the torrential downpour, all that’s missing is someBoyz II Men“It’s So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday.”

The threat was made clear inanother clipmaking the promotional rounds; the tiger Shere Khan (Idris Elba) is out for blood against the humans and he’ll take it out on the only human within his grasp, Mowgli. Over the weekend, Disney put on spotlight on the latter in another clip featuring the bear necessity of hibernation.

Disney will releaseThe Jungle Bookon April 15, but this isn’t the only adaptation of theRudyard Kiplingstory coming our way. Motion-capture masterAndy Serkiswill make his directorial debut in 2017 withJungle Book: Origins, featuringChristian Bale(Bagheera),Cate Blanchett(Kaa), andBenedict Cumberbatch(Shere Khan). Here’s the story Disney will be telling this year:

“The Jungle Book” is an all-new live-action epic adventure about Mowgli (newcomer Neel Sethi), a man-cub who’s been raised by a family of wolves. But Mowgli finds he is no longer welcome in the jungle when fearsome tiger Shere Khan (voice of Idris Elba), who bears the scars of Man, promises to eliminate what he sees as a threat. Urged to abandon the only home he’s ever known, Mowgli embarks on a captivating journey of self-discovery, guided by panther-turned-stern mentor Bagheera (voice of Ben Kingsley), and the freespirited bear Baloo (voice of Bill Murray). Along the way, Mowgli encounters jungle creatures who don’t exactly have his best interests at heart, including Kaa (voice of Scarlett Johannsson), a python whose seductive voice and gaze hypnotizes the man-cub, and the smooth-talking King Louie (voice of Christopher Walken), who tries to coerce Mowgli into giving up the secret to the elusive and deadly red flower: fire.
