A24 has debuted the first trailer forSorry, Baby, the upcoming drama starringEva Victor, who will also make her screenwriting and directorial debut on the film.Sorry, Babyfollows Agnes (Victor), a woman who deals with the troubles in her life while watching everyone else go about their daily lives as if nothing is happening. In addition to Victor,Sorry, Babyalso starsNaomi Ackie, who opened the year by starring oppositeRobert PattinsoninMickey 17.Sorry, Babypremiered at Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, and earned a 95% from critics onRotten Tomatoes, including an8/10 reviewfrom Collider’sRoss Bonaime.
In addition to Victor and Ackie,Sorry, Babyalso starsLouis Calcemi,Lucas Hedges,John Carroll Lynch, andKelly McCormack. The film will be released in select theaters on June 27 ahead of its nationwide debut on July 18. Eva Victor’s career is young but blossoming fast. She doesn’t have many credits to her name, but one of the biggest came from a small role inSuper Pumped, the Showtime original series starringJoseph Gordon-LevittandKyle Chandler. She also recently lent her voice toBoys Go to Jupiter, the animated film directed byJulia Glanderthat starsElsie FisherandJaneane Garofalo. As for her co-star, Ackie’s first big role came inThe Rise of Skywalker. However, just last year, she also starred inBlink Twice, which starsChanning Tatumand also sawZoë Kravitzmake her directorial debut.

What Else Is Coming This Year for A24?
A24’s biggest movie thus far this year has beenWarfare, the Iraq war movie fromAlex GarlandandRay Mendozathat’s still playing in limited theaters.
