Liam Neesonis no longer the only man with a “very particular, and very dangerous, set of skills.” The firstTakentrailer previews actorClive Standenas Bryan Mills in the NBC series inspired by the film trilogy of the same name. Only this Bryan Mills is younger, and instead of his kids and wife getting “taken” left and right, it’s everybody else’s.

In the footage, we see Bryan, a former Green Beret, on a train with his daughter, Cali, when he springs into action to stop two gunmen. Cali dies in the scuffle, but his heroic actions catch the eye of the CIA looking to recruit him to become the deadly operative that we know and love — and who kidnappers fear. Because this is a series and not one large contained film, it looks like many of his missions will be dealing with other people whose loved ones are “taken.”
