‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’: Robert Downey Jr. In, Michael Keaton Out
You probably are already looking forward toTom Holland’s first standalone movie in the MCU withSpider-Man: Homecoming, and now you can look forward to seeing a familiar face joining Spider-Man in his film, that beingRobert Downey Jr.as Iron Man. According to reports, Downey is set to make an appearance inSpider-Man: Homecoming, what part Tony Stark will play in the plot of film remains to be seen. Nevertheless, the move makes sense, there’s a relationship since Stark recruited Parker for his appearance inCaptain America: Civil War,and Downey’s addition is a definite draw. Let’s just hope he doesn’t take the spotlight away from Spidey.
On a less exciting note, as Downey joinsSpider-Man: Homecoming, news also dropped thatMichael Keatonhas departed from discussions to appear. Keaton is reportedly now out of the conversations that would have landed him in a villainous role rumored to be that of Vulture. And so,Spider-Man: Homecomingcontinues the search for its villain.

‘Justice League’: Willem Dafoe Added
As filming continues forZack Snyder’sJustice League, the film continues to add big names to its roster, after the addition ofJ.K. Simmonsa new player has been introduced withWillem Dafoenow joining. Although the role is being kept under wraps, Dafoe is reportedly playing a good guy role that will require him to appear in both parts ofJustice League. We’ll have to wait for more details to surface, and while the character reveal would be nice, just the casting is something to be encouraged about.
‘Iron Fist’: First Set Images, New Cast Additions
Marvel has the gears rolling for the arrival ofIron Fistto Netflix next year, and what better signs of that thanset photosand newcasting news. The first photos from set revealFinn Jonesas Danny Rand, and while he’s not in his Iron Fist costume yet, the distinct look he has in the photos gives plenty to speculate about. In otherIron Fistnews, the cast grows with the addition ofTom PelphreyandJessica Stroup, who will be playing Ward and Joy Meachum, the siblings who have helped build Rand Enterprises in Danny’s absence.
‘X-Men: Apocalypse’: New Promos Released
Fox has no intention to let you forget thatX-Men: Apocalypseis close to being here, and they are giving us new reminder in the form of newpromosandads. The “historical” promo gives us a short lesson on the history of mutants and teases the appearances of the world’s first mutant Apocalypse (Oscar Isaac). The new ads further tease the upcoming film, the standout being Quicksilver (Evan Peters) showing off his power again.
‘Captain America: Civil War’: New TV Spots Released
Captain America: Civil Waris around the corner and the whole world is waiting, as proven by the release of two newinternational TV spotsand anew ad. The new spots are short and are just a small reminder of what’s to come, and while you need to know German to understand what is being said, you may still enjoy new glimpses of Zemo (Daniel Brühl) and Ant-Man (Paul Rudd). In the new ad we get a nice look at that chase between Captain America (Chris Evans), Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), and Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) through the eyes of a family just trying to avoid all the traffic and running superheroes.
‘Power Rangers’: Fist Look at Rita Repulsa
At this point you must have your opinions about the upcomingPower Rangersmovie, if you’re a fan you’re probably excited about it, and if you’re not maybe your just curious about how this new version will turn out. While not a lot is known about the film, this week we got ourfirst look atElizabeth Banksas Rita Repulsa. Let’s say you’re in for a surprise if you were expecting the look to be similar to that of the original character from the 1993 show, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
