Lionsgate UK has released a new series ofPride and Prejudice and Zombiescharacter posters online. Directed byBurr Steers(Igby Goes Down) and based onSeth Grahame-Smith’s parody of Jane Austen’s classic novel, the story follows the educated, well-mannered, and downright badass Bennet sisters, Elizabeth (Lily James), Lydia (Ellie Bamber), Mary (Millie Brady), Jane (Bella Heathcote), and Kitty (Suki Waterhouse) as they navigate the societal pressures of 19th century England amidst the undead roaming the countryside.
These are some handsome posters, and it makes me wonder how this collection of actors would preform in a straightPride & Prejudiceadaptation minus the zombies.Sam Rileystrikes me as a little too young to play Mr. Darcy, but you probably want to go young if you’re gearing up for an action film. I also love thatLena Headey’s Lady Catherine de Bourgh sports an eye-patch. That’s the best.
