The latest effort from Warner Bros. animation was recently seen on the big screen, but the title’s box office performance left much to be desired.

The characters have been friends since they were children, with a farmer kindly taking on the endeavor of raising the boys before the events of the movie. Petunia Pig (Candi Milo) was a fundamental ally for the protagonists ofThe Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie. While the project focused on the friendship between Porky and Daffy,the romance between Petunia and Porky also stole the spotlightwhen the movie premiered in theaters.

Peter Browngardtwas the director Warner Bros. selected to tackleThe Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie. The filmmaker is currently developing aPokémontelevision series for Netflix. Before working on the animated adventure led by Porky Pig and Daffy Duck,Browngardt already had plenty of experience withLooney Tunescharacters.The artist previously worked onLooney Tunes Cartoons, the project that kept the brand alive for the streaming era until last year. The director voiced Roofer Joe and Bully in the film.
