ThoughAvengers: Age of Ultronwas a box office smash, it didn’t quite hit the mark with fans as the originalAvengersdid. A fact that directorJoss Whedonis very aware of. At a Q&A withMark Ruffaloat the Tribeca Film Festival, Whedon addressed the perception ofAge of Ultronand his feelings on it from a report via Vulture. On the movie itself, he said he’s very proud ofUltronbut there were things that didn’t meet his expectations.

End of the TourdirectorJames Ponsoldthas signed on to directI Want My MTV, a movie based on the book chronicling the creation of MTV and its first decade of the network’s existence that became a cultural icon. A24, the studio behindRoom,The Witchand the upcomingGreen Room, is behind the adaptation which is described as a fun, immersive look at the network’s rise through testimonials and celebratory accounts of a one-of-a-kind cultural moment. Ponsoldt released a press release for the movie saying that MTV had a massive impact on him and that he’s excited to be working again with A24.
The latest entry in theFast & Furiousfranchise,Furious 8, is currently filming with a new director,Straight Outta Compton’sF Gary Gray, behind the camera. To get the fans excited,Vin Dieselreleased the newest posteron his Facebook page with the fitting tagline: “New Roads Ahead.” The movie will bring back the original cast withCharlize Theronjoining them as the new villain. The next installment will drive into theatres next year on April 14th.
The Weinstein Company has released a new trailer for theirupcoming sports dramaHands of Stone.The movie starsRobert De NiroandEdgar Ramirezas the trainer/fighter duo of Ray Arcel and Roberto Duran and R&B starUsheras boxing legend Sugar Ray Leonard. Duran’s bouts with Leonard drew worldwide attention after he beat Leonard in the first fight but gave up in the eighth round of the second fight, telling the ref ‘No Mas.’Hands of Stoneis directed and written by Venezuelan filmmakerJonathan Jakubowiczand hits theatres this August 26th.

Big Fan Here since the early days at AMC. I love all the new content. I have a question about theAvatarmovies. With the 4 more sequels coming out I have a question about the actors. Are they going to be filming back to back to back to back? With all the actors all the same time? What does that mean for all their other movies? LikeZoe Saldanaand the MCU, does that mean she won’t be in those movies anymore if the filming is at the same time? Which movie would she be in? Thank you for all your time and effort.
