Less than a week after it was announced thatEmily in ParisstarCamille Razatwould not reprise her role as Camille in Season 5of the Netflix series, she’s already addressed her departure. Razat has appeared in 33 of 42 episodes ofEmily in Paris, which is led byLily Collinsas the titular character, Emily Cooper, andAshley Parkas Mindy Chen.Emily in Pariswas renewed for Season 5 last year, and Netflix confirmed just a few days ago plans tobegin filming this summer in Rome and Paris. During a recent interview withTV Line,Emily in Parisstar Camille Razat spoke about her exit from the series, citing the end of her character’s story but also the opportunity to explore new horizons:

“After an incredible journey, I’ve made the decision to step away from Emily in Paris. It has been a truly wonderful experience — one filled with growth, creativity, and unforgettable memories. I’m deeply grateful to Darren Star and the entire team at Netflix and Paramount for their trust and for giving me the opportunity to bring Camille to life andleaving the door open for her return, as she will always be a part of Emily In Paris world. This character has meant a lot to me, andI feel that her storyline has naturally come to an end. It felt like the right moment to explore new horizons.”

Collins is the onlyEmily in Parisstar to feature in all 42 episodes of the series. Following closely behind her with 40 episodes each are Ashley Park as Mindy Chen,Philippine Leroy-Beaulieuas Sylver Grateau,Lucas Bravoas Gabriel,Samuel Arnoldas Julien, andBruno Goueryas Luc. Razat then sits comfortably behind this group with her 33 episode total, but she will potentially be passed by others, as it seems she will not be adding anymore to this total.Lucien Laviscounthas also appeared in 19 episodes of the hit Netflix series after making his debut in Season 2 in 2021, and Season 1 veteranWilliam Abadiehas been featured in 18 episodes. Another Season 2 newcomer,Kevin Dias, has starred as Benoît in 17 episodes ofEmily in Paris, andPaul Formanhas been featured as Nicolas de Léon in 13 episodes.

American Sniper, the 2014 biopic starringBradley Cooperas real US Navy SEAL sniperChris Kyle, has taken the top spot on Netflix. The Oscar-winning film was directed byClint Eastwood. Over on the TV side of things, Netflix’s new Western,Ransom Canyon, is sitting comfortably atop streaming charts despite no announcement of a Season 2 renewal. The latest season ofBlack Mirroris also in the Netflix top 10 right now, along withYoung Sheldon, which has seen a resurgence on Netflix after going off the air last year.
