Keep in mind that Universal Pictures’Kindergarten Cop 2will be a home video release, but based on the level of interest over thefilm’s productionandfirst images, and judging from how popular the original action-comedy starringArnold Schwarzeneggerremains more than 25 years later, this silly sequel might gain cult-classic status in record time.
Bill Bellamy(Any Given Sunday,TV’sHot in Cleveland) also stars alongside Lundgren in the action-comedy directed byDon Michael Paul(Jarhead 2: Field of Fire,Tremors 5: Bloodlines) and written byDavid H. Steinberg(American Pie 2,Miss Dial).Kindergarten Cop 2arrives on DVD and Digital HD on May 17 and will feature deleted scenes, a gag reel, and a segment titledKindergarten Cop 2: Undercover.

In Kindergarten Cop 2, Lundgren plays Agent Reed, who goes undercover as a kindergarten teacher, this time to recover a flash drive with sensitive information that was stolen from the Witness Protection Program. However, in addition to dealing with a handful of students, Reed also faces problems with the school’s “politically correct environment."
