Hazbin Hotelhas made a name for itself with its bold animation style, sharp humor, and theatrical, Broadway-inspired musical numbers. With Season 2 on the horizon, the cast is already teasing which track could become the show’s next viral hit, and according toErika Henningsen(voice of Charlie Morningstar), the standout moment is a song between Charlie and none other than Niffty, voiced byKimiko Glenn.

During Collider’s Interview Studio session at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, Henningsen was asked byPerri Nemiroffabout a behind-the-scenes clip from last year’sCollider Ladies Nightwhere she was interviewed. While the clip sparked plenty of speculation about what Henningsen was recording at that moment, she has now confirmed what was teased in the footage, which only builds the excitement for Season 2 further. “That little moment is a small section I have in a solo song for Niffty. And the song is so good,” Henningsen revealed.

“It Slaps So Hard”

Amir Talai, the voice behind the infamous Radio Demon Alastor, quickly jumped in to add his approval. “It slaps so hard.” Henningsen doubled down on the hype. “It slaps so hard!Sam [Haft]andAndrew [Underberg]played it. Also, Kimiko Glenn, who plays Niffty, really goes off, and her voice is incredible. But the song is… some songs like that, we recorded that a while ago. I’ve kind of forgotten some of the songs that I myself recorded. I have not forgotten that one.It lives rent-free up here.”

Creator Vivienne “VivziePop” Medrano agreed, teasing that fans will be hooked the moment they hear it. “It’s very good. It’s very catchy.”

A Viral Moment in the Making

TheHazbin Hotelteam is no stranger to creating fan-favorite tracks. The series’ Season 1 soundtrack has been wickedly popular on streaming services since its release, and the music consistently trends on social media, spawning remixes, dance videos, and fan covers. Henningsen believes this new song could be the one from Season 2 to follow the same path. “So good. AndI think the fans are going to be obsessed with it, and make little dance videos to it. It’s incredible,” she shared during the interview.

With the series gearing up for its second season, the promise of a viral Niffty track adds even more anticipation. If Henningsen and Talai’s excitement is anything to go by, this might just be the song that definesHazbin Hotel’s return. Season 2 of Hazbin Hotel is set for an October 29 premiere on Prime Video.
