Murder mystery fans,Acorn TVhas you absolutely set for the month of May. Beginning May 1, Acorn TV is debuting its Murder Mystery May event on the platform. The month-long streaming event features new episodes of both fan-favorite and brand-new murder mystery television series on Mondays and new twisty and thrilling murder mystery movies on Fridays. The event will include talent from the likes ofJane Seymour, Richard E. Grant,Natalie Dormer, Emma Thompson, Dame Judi Dench, Eric Bana, Jim Broadbent,and more.
In addition to the return of series such asHarry Wild,The Murdoch Mysteries,The Brokenwood Mysteries,and more, Acorn TV will be debuting several new thrilling series such asSafe House,The Light in the Hall,andWhite Lies. Acorn TV isn’t just filling your murder mystery cup with television, they will also be premiering films such asThe Dry Part 1,Cracks,andRogue Agentduring the month of May.

Murder Mystery Man Returns Fan-Favorite Mystery Series To The Screen
There’sa lotcoming in Murder Mystery May, but to not overwhelm you, let’s hit on two shows you’ll definitely want to carve out time to watch. The first of which isThe Murdoch Mysteries, which iscelebrating its 300th episodeduring Murder Mystery May. Season 18 continues with its 22-episode run and featuresYannick Bisson’s Detective William Murdoch as “his team investigate brand-new cases, including the killing of a man during a battlefield re-enactment, the veracity of a ‘Missing Link’ skull, a murder at aCharles Dickensconvention, threats to a silent film star throwing Murdoch into a cinematic adventure, and the foiling a theft of the world’s largest ruby.”
The other series to hit on is the Season 4 premiere ofHarry Wild. The Jane Seymour-led series returns on May 5, featuring new cases,including Harry’s son, Charlie (Kevin Ryan), asking for Harry’s helpon a case. Set a year later, the new season also sees Harry “hired by a friend and former wild child turned nun; Lola (Rose O’Neill) stumbles upon a dance school mystery; a Dublin literary tour takes a bloody turn; and Fergus’ (Rohan Nedd) hopes of going to college at the same time as Lola are threatened when she gets an incredible offer to study abroad.”
