Recently, Collider’sJoe Schmidtsat down with Bareilles to catch up with the two-time Grammy Award-winner who opened up aboutGirls5evasinging its final tune. Remaininghopeful about the futureof the girl band’s story, the “Love Song” singer chooses to keep her head up, telling Schmidt:

“Look. Anything is possible, I really believe that.Stranger things have happened. I think for now, what I think is great to highlight is that we have these three wonderful seasons. We got three incredible seasons of this show that are all hosted together. They’re all watchable, bingeable. And then who knows?”

As for what could happen in the future should the gals enjoy a reunion via series or feature-length film, the possibilities are endless. Schmidt suggested that they could lean into a “Fyre Fest-type situation,” something that seemed to pique Bareilles’ intrigue, as she encouraged,“You write it. We’re gonna go do a GoFundMe.”But, in her heart of hearts, she sees an international takeover as the next step forGirls5eva, adding:

“I’ve been saying I want to do a Girls5Eva movie. I want to do, like, aSex in the City—Let’s. Go. To. Dubai. Well no, maybe not Dubai, but you know.Let’s go on tour. Let’s have the girls go on tour. I would love it.I’m a hope addict.I’m hopeful that something will happen and, truly, I believe anything’s possible.”
