The action threequel was originally released to franchise-best reviews in 2023, emerging as a solid box office hit. On June 3, the movie finished third on the Prime Video streaming charts, according toFlixPatrol. The list was topped byA Working Man, whose dominance has been nothing but phenomenal.
The Equalizer 3has been the number one movie on Prime Video across Central America and South America for three days in a row. It hasaccumulated a total of 345 points this month, and 173 points on June 3. By comparison,A Working Manhas accumulated a total of nearly 7,000 points since its debut on Prime Video last month. Directed byDavid Ayer, the film concluded its theatrical run with nearly $100 million worldwide, against a reported budget of $40 million. It holds a “verified hot” 87% audience score onRotten Tomatoes.

The Equalizer 3was also embraced by audiences, much like its two predecessors. It holdsa 94% audience scoreon the aggregator website, in addition to a 76% critics' score. Directed byAntoine Fuqua,The Equalizer 3concluded its theatrical run with$92 million domestically and $191 million worldwide, againsta reported budget of $70 million. Interestingly, bothThe EqualizerandThe Equalizer2also grossed near-identical amounts. While the first film concluded its run with $192 million worldwide,The Equalizer 2made $190 million worldwide.Two more films are reportedly in the works.
Washington and Statham Are Huge Draws on Streaming
Washington also experienced streaming success over on the Paramount+ charts, whereGladiator IIhas been ruling the roost for weeks. He played a colorful supporting role in the movie, which made over $460 million worldwide last year. On the Prime Video charts, Statham has another film lower down the rankings.Wrath of Mantook the seventh spot on June 3, whileThe Accountanttook the eighth spot, ahead of the Prime Video debut of its sequel,The Accountant 2.
