Practical FX/Creature Shop in Dubrovnik
AsEpisode VIIIcontinues filming overseas, a report was released revealing that a Practical Effects Creature Shop has popped up on the set; which makes a lot of sense seeing as the new Trilogy has been touted as a return to the sensibilities found in the Original Trilogy; which was put to great use inThe Force Awakens. The Council love the idea of seeing more practical effects in the next Episode and can’t wait to see what they have in store for us.

Mark Hamillmade the news when he started talking some minor tidbits ofEpisode VIIIand as you can imagine, he didn’t really say much. WHAT’S THE DEAL WITH CANON?
The topics this week are few but seeing as it’sStar Wars, and the machine is being run by Disney, we will ALWAYS have Star Wars. This week we have a few stories to discuss, namely the new Children’s Books written byCavan Scott. While taking over the top charts in the UK, the new stories, geared for the kids, explore and introduce some new characters in the biggerStar WarsUniverse.
On the comic side of things, finally, Marvel has announced a new series of comics that will feature Han Solo and his adventures. The Council is very happy and excited to see the run but they are wondering what the timeline will be – is it beforeNew Hope? Is it set betweenNew HopeandEmpire Strikes Back? One thing everyone agrees with, the series is to coincide with theYoung Han Solomovie that is currently awaiting its lead announcement.

And lastly, the remake for one of the most popular video games in theStar WarsUniverse, maybe of all time, isKnights of the Old Republic. Now, some new footage of the remake has hit online.
